We hope this message finds you safe and well. Below are the latest updates on our progress at "The Emery".
Power Connection Work - COMPLETED
The temporary power connection of our site to PG&E's system was completed last Friday 2/26/21. PG&E's work took longer than we or the neighbors were previously informed. Unfortunately PG&E communications of any delays in the work Friday were not clear or timely in our opinion. We will continue to request clearer communication and more careful planning by PG&E for future work that will cause power interruptions in the neighborhood (anticipated June/July 2021). Thanks for your patience.
Storm Drain Installation on Horton Street
The Horton Storm drain work is now complete.
Reclaimed Water Line Install - Sherwin Ave.
The reclaimed water line installation work on Sherwin Avenue will start today 3/2/21 and we anticipate it will last about 2 weeks. Please be aware of traffic control measures on Sherwin Avenue and be careful as you navigate this area.
On Site Work:
Building B1 roof completion, window installation, and continued work on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc. rough installations.
Building B2 wood framing on the 4th level. Mechanical trades are working inside the garage and the wood frame structures.
Building D placement of concrete podium slab, columns, and walls continues with wood framing starting in next few weeks.
Building C (last one!) footings and foundations are now underway.
We anticipate soil off haul from the Building C footings area to occur next week, most likely Thursday 3/11 and Friday 3/12. Please be aware of added dump truck traffic during this operation and likely additional street sweeping.
Please keep in mind that with the rainy season upon us there will be a greater need for street sweeping so we are compliant with local and state stormwater management ordinances.
Have a safe week and we will be in touch with additional updates as the work progresses.
